In season 8, episode 2, we see the love
story of Catherine Stanek-Cousins and Timothy Koile who committed the
murder of Sean Cousins in the state of Florida. A love story gone
twisted, that ends with Catherine Stanek-Cousins being convicted of manslaughter and being sentenced to 15 years and Timothy Koile making a plea agreement
and sentenced to 10 years with five years probation.
Oxygen describes the show as a sex
scandal uncovers a deadly secret which leads to a missing pilot.
As much as I understand there is a difference between knowing who killed someone and being able to prove it in court, this seems like a huge miscarriage of justice. Sean Cousins is no longer living because his wife choose to have an affair with a neighbor. Barely any prison time was served in this case. I hope his family was able to find some peace anyway.
