In season 9, episode 9, we see the love
story of Rose Vincent and Mark Bowling who committed the murder
of Julie Bowling in the state of North Carolina. A love story gone
twisted, that ends with Rose Vincent being pleaded guilty to the
homicide and being sentenced to 29 years and Mark Bowling being
convicted of second-degree murder and conspiracy to murder in the
first degree and sentenced to 15 years. Since going to prison, they
have received 13 infractions.
Oxygen describes the show as In a
desperate attempt to begin a new life together, two lovers vow to
take out the one person who stands between them, true love, and a
million-dollar life insurance payout.
Vincent has maintained for her it was never the promise of money, but that she loved him blindly and would do anything he asked her to do. She did agree to testify against him in exchange for a plea deal. Julie is dead, Mark is dead and Rose is in prison. For what?

Mark Bowling served his time at Sampson Correctional Institution . He died at the age of 47 of natural causes in late summer of 2018.
